A week ago Cindy Sheehan decided not to protest at the LRMC hospital, instead to meet EU parliamentary members at the church in Landstuhl, and then conduct a protest march culminating at Ramstein AB. Her reason she wrote in the Palestine Chronicle was “let’s leave our troops out of our protests”. She goes on to say that,” she will set up Camp Casey at recruiting offices so our *children* cannot put on the uniform of a soldier”.

On 08 March Cindy Sheehan sent an e-mail to the Stars and Stripes stating that, “If I am there, I won’t be anywhere near the air force base ... or participate in the march,” wrote Sheehan on Wednesday. “I was brutalized in New York the other day by the NYPD (New York Police Department) and I need to go to the doctor today (Wednesday).”

Elsa Rassbach, one of the organizers of this event, still plans to protest at Ramstein. Stefan Prystawik along with the Soldiers’ Angels Germany also will conduct a counter protest. As Soldiers’ Angels Germany, Wilhelmine Aufmkolk states,” I am here to support these troops and all the men and women who fight against terrorism. I am thankful for the opportunity through the Soldiers Angels to support our American friends and soldiers in Iraq, Afghanistan and the wounded soldiers here in Germany, US Hospital Landstuhl... They all have given so much for other peoples' freedom.”

"Her reason she wrote in the Palestine Chronicle was “let’s leave our troops out of our protests”. "

A shame she doesn't reserve that respect for her dead son as well...
